What a week. it was enjoyable u know. playing and training my dog. teaching him the basic skills like sit and stand. but my dog still dosen't know his name and he still pees everywhere he likes. he finish his bag of treats in a week. he eats alot but does not like the taste of vitamin in his food. to me all his food smells horrible. smells like fish food though. but he simply love it. we tried to give him another dog biscuit which smells sweet and milky but he refuse to eat. i guess he is just fussy or choosy about his food or simply he is too used to eating "fish" food. on saturday while i was cleaning his pee, he steal some cabbage from my breakfast. i had to chase him around the house just to catch him and remove the cabbage. dogs cant eat human food, it is too salty or too sweet. dogs can have diabetes and all sort of problems so we must feed him correctly.
this whole week, i have been waking up at 6am. waking up at 6 to go school and bring my dog for a morning walk. do u know what motivates me to wake up so early. it's him. toto my dog. he is always wanting companionship and always wanting to be beside you. he is scared to sleep alone but i think he is used to it. he is like a small kid who is scared of the dark like us when we were young. do you know dogs dream too. they too will have nightmares.
i stole some tubes for the storage of my dog food. it is used to measure the amount of food i give him. for me i just simply add one tube of food. it's that easy. his life is so simple. sleep, eat, play, shit and poops. he has the whole balcony to himself when we are out but he gets to roam around the house when we are around. my dog especially their species are very loyal and playful. they have to be walked at least once a day and they like to play with people they know. my dog started to bark at my friend when he entered the house. that's good u know. it proves that he knows who is the stranger and who is his friends. what if he dosen't bark, he will just follow anyone that has food.
My dog today is a brave boy. he had to go for microchipping. looking at the needle made my sister scared. it was quite big though. bigger than any other needle i saw. i knew it was going to hurt but i knew my dog had to go through this suffering either today or another. why not go though it now rather than later. seeing the needle was a pain to the heart. after that he inserted the microchip. the microchip which is about 2mm thick came off. the vet told us that it was lousy quality so he had to insert another. i was like "erm either u really suck in this or the microchip sucks". poor toto, he had to endure another painstaking insertion of the microchip. when dogs are nervous or scared they shiver which was what happen when i carried him. looking at him, i can see him scared nervous and in pain. but i did manage to cheer him up with treats.
Lifes better with him around. seeing my whole family helping to ensure toto's well being. hope the relationship and the companionship will last a life time.
