28.11.07 FYP presentation Day
well today is our FYP presentation day. i didnt really get much sleep because of fyp. had to prepare the slides prepare myself get new pants and shirt and get a new look. well my group and i stayed till late and endured the long hours of FYP. we had to go through test and homework. but i guess we are happy with the outcome of our fyp though.
i got a bit excited and also nervous this morning. i wasnt really well prepared i didnt know what questions they were going to ask, i didnt know which datasheets i have to do. i just wanted to get over and done with the stupid presentation. its like taking so much time. well time pass quite fast it was soon our turn. we tried to de-stress ourself making jokes playing around. well i didnt really help.
when it was our turn, my heart goes BOOM BOOM BOOM. u can feel the butterfly, fell like shiting and ur mind just go blank. luckily i had my script with me. i simply red through the script. but luckily it wasnt as bad as i expected. luckily my supervisor helped us along. well she is so called the boss in the room. she gets to command people. while we were presenting, 2 lecturers were either talking or discussing something. my supervisor told them to keep their volume down and they did. well it was quite funny though. after presenting, it was time for question and answers. that where the "fun" begans. well surprisingly or expectedly the question were quite easy though. lol we just gave our answers(dont know whether they would understand). the best part was when the co-examiner told us that we had very good results and our report was well written. i was surprise honestly. our group comprises of 2 people who have a GPA of less that 2 and another one with a GPA of 3.5. well it was a great surprise. i dont know if my supervisor was happy or not but she certainly have a smile on her face.
Well since FYP is over we now can concentrate on the other stuff. hehe
Well this is the chance and only chance to thank those that have endured the hardship and sacrifice the time with me. well i have to say Vernette Ho WaiSeen did most of the job. without her it would be quite slack and the outcome would not have turn this way. thank her for changing me, if not i would have remained a nerd and always be a nerd. well i like to say a big thank you to her. if not for her guidance,tolerance and understanding. yes we had some fun in the lab joked around, ate a lot and disturbed william, we gone through a lot. one day i would like to thank her by blan jar ing dinner.

Hi it's been long since my last post. well lots of things i have done this week. played games, did FYP, my dog, school work blah blah blah...
FYP- FYP report submission is this friday, 5pm. i really hope friday comes soon. why? cause i hate writing reports. they are long, boring and irritating. well we have already wrote 72 pages which is quite a lot. i am worried for other groups, they are only mid way through. they have not passed up their first draft to their supervisor. not even the first one. they have a long way to go unlike us. our lecturer have been strict and demanding. every week we will either see her for the report or something to do with the experiment. haha but i sure cant wait for this friday. after that it will be presentation on the 28th of nov. after that is no more FYP YEAH!!! cant wait.
Games- I have been playing hellgate for awhile now. lol it's fun but because of FYP i dont really have the time to train. but consider myself lucky. because the developer of the game gave IAH which is the company in charge of running the game in singapore the wrong format. IAH had to reset all characters just to install the patch. well consider me lucky for not having to train that hard. well the patch will include some repairs to the game thus reducing the lag and the problems faced in the game. i have also been playing a bit of battlefield well i love playing in the australia server. why? because they suck so bad. well they cannot be compared to us singaporeans playing battlefield, their skills are really bad.
Dog- Well, i really dont have the time to teach my dog new tricks. however i found some time to walk him and to bring him out.well yesterday which was sunday. my dad, sis and i brought him out to a pet farm which was where i bought him. well it is a heaven for all dogs. the place is free. dogs roam around freely with other dogs and they have a small little swimming pool for the dogs to play in. well my dog got the first taste of swimming yesterday. it was quite funny though. he was paddling in the water. when we lifted him up in mid-air his hands and legs were still paddling. well hard to explain but it was surely funny. cant wait to bring him to the place again next week. there at the farm we saw a yorkshire terrier. well they are dogs that can fit in the palm of your hand. they are so tiny i was scared that the bigger dogs will eat the small little dog up. well my dog certainly had lots of fun.
Well it is time to do my FYP liao damn cant wait for this friday
